Operasi khidmat Doktor Udara perlu diperkasa
The Flying Doctor Service helicopter that went down near Long Lellang in Ulu Baram killed its pilot and four Health Ministry staff, among them a medical officer, an assistant medical officer and two nurses. The crew had been flying treatment to remote communities in Sarawak that sit far from any hospital. Commentary after the crash argues the service needs stronger backing, given how much of the interior depends on it.
