Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka paid a working visit to Palangka Raya in Central Kalimantan on Thursday. Despite smoke from forest and land fires hanging over the city, he toured an orangutan rehabilitation centre. During the stop he promised to support the recovery of orangutan habitats, which have come under pressure from the fires and land clearing in the province.
