Advocate calls for greater protection on public transport
Disability advocates in Barbados are calling for greater protection on public transport. Frederick Johnson, a director of the Barbados Council of the Disabled, and BCD president Patricia Padmore-Blackman raised the issue, appearing alongside Wayne Nurse, acting director of the National Disabilities Unit. Their message is that operators and regulators owe passengers stronger safeguards than what is on offer now.
