The opening day of the Spanish Grand Prix put Madrid's mobility to the test, with crowds packing Metro platforms. The first VIPs showed up under a harsh sun, and several visitors got lost finding their way around Ifema. Fernando Alonso turned up pushing a baby stroller, to the delight of onlookers. One fan joked that Spain has Fernando for ten more years, then corrected the figure to five.
