Twenty-five years after the September 11 attacks, mourners gathered in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania to honor the nearly 3,000 people killed in the hijackings. Ceremonies were held at the three sites where the planes went down in 2001. Families of victims joined officials and survivors in remembering those who died.
