Files from the UK Foreign Office, declassified and public since 2024, show officials have been recording warnings about Israeli violence and rights abuses since 2002. That amounts to nearly a quarter century of documented concern inside Whitehall. The papers raise uncomfortable questions about what British ministers knew and how little changed as the warnings piled up.
