Authorities detained a suspected participant in the murder of Ramón Rubio López, a former Morena candidate for local deputy, in Phoenix, Arizona. The suspect was promptly transferred to Sinaloa to face the case there. Rubio, who also belonged to a collective that helps the Tarahumara community, had received threats while campaigning for the office.
