Church bells toll in Basilan for peaceful BARMM elections

LAMITAN CITY, Basilan — As the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) prepares for its historic first parliamentary elections on Monday, Sept. 14, the Catholic Church is mobilizing its faithful to pray for peace and order across the region.   In Circular Letter No. 007, Series of 2026, issued Saturday, Isabela de Basilan Bishop Leo
