The Democrat Party has cautioned the Thai government and its Board of Investment over generous incentives for multinational investors. It fears the policy could turn the country into what it calls a zero dollar investment hub, hosting firms that pay little or nothing. The opposition is demanding an overhaul of the tax exemption criteria to head that off.
