Iran has dismissed as absurd the attempt by Donald Trump and the United States to use the September 11 attacks to justify war. Speaking on Friday at commemorations marking 25 years since the attacks, the US president defended the military campaign his administration launched against Iran. He also promised that the Islamic Republic would never get its hands on a nuclear weapon.
