State-owned lender PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) booked Rp 27.4 billion in non-interest income from its bancassurance business through the first half of 2026. The Jakarta-based bank counts insurance sold through its branches as one of its growing fee-based earners. BTN puts the contribution at around 1.5 percent of its income in the category.
