Heavy rain floods Sukhumvit Road in Pattaya
Overnight rain flooded roads and homes across parts of Pattaya late on September 10, leaving drivers stuck in deep water. Several vehicles stalled as the water rose from around 11pm at four locations, among them Sukhumvit Road in front of Lotus South Pattaya on the Sattahip-bound side and the Moom Aroi intersection on Third Road, with other points affected too. The railway line was also hit. Motorists had little choice but to wait for the water to drain.
