Some of New Zealand's largest electricity users are calling for cross-party cooperation on energy policy. The Major Electricity Users' Group wants a bipartisan approach and says it is 'still waiting' for political parties to tackle the sector's problems comprehensively. Its argument is that the rules for big power consumers should not lurch with every change of government.
