A woman who drove under the influence of alcohol has been ordered to pay an insurance company 19,250 dirhams, with legal interest of 3 percent added on top. The ruling came from the Abu Dhabi Commercial Court of First Instance. The insurer pursued the claim after the drink-driving incident, and the final bill works out at roughly 19,000 dirhams.
