Neil Agius’ 142KM World Record Still Stands After Belgian Swimmer Ends Attempt
Maltese swimmer Neil Agius' 142.3km world record remains unbroken. Belgian ultra-athlete Matthieu Bonne tried to beat it but stopped after about 100km and more than 48 hours in the open sea. He needed at least another 50km to surpass the record. His team decided to end the attempt.
