Chris Rock explores darker side of Hollywood in ‘Misty Green’

Chris Rock has returned to directing after a decade-long break with ‘Misty Green’, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Starring ‘Slow Horses’ actor Rosalind Eleazar alongside Adam Driver, Anna Kendrick and Rock, the film follows a once-successful actor battling career and financial troubles. While ‘Misty Green’ contains plenty of humour, Rock explores institutional racism, substance abuse and the pitfalls of Hollywood stardom.
