Corruption scheme uncovered in vehicle weight and dimension control

A corruption scheme has been uncovered in the transport control sector following an inspection conducted by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to preliminary findings, officials accepted payments to allow heavy trucks whose weight and dimensions exceeded established limits to pass without hindrance.
