APNU, WIN to boycott sectoral committee meetings with President
Guyana's two main opposition parties will stay away from upcoming meetings with President Irfaan Ali. A Partnership for National Unity and We Invest in Nationhood said they are boycotting the bipartisan foreign relations and economic services committees because no agenda or supporting documents were circulated for the sessions. The standoff deepens friction between the government and the parliamentary opposition.
