Duncan: Wales’ 57MW test is not delivery of promised 300MW
APNU parliamentarian Sherod Duncan has pushed back on the government's framing of progress at the Wales Gas-to-Energy project. Speaking to reporters on Friday, he said the 57 megawatts expected to enter the national grid when the first turbine is tested in December cannot be presented as the 300MW promised to Guyanese. In his view, a turbine trial and actual delivery are two different things. The project remains a running dispute between the opposition and the administration.
