The Otzma Yehudit party has petitioned the Central Elections Committee to bar former MK Sami Abu Shehadeh from running in the upcoming Knesset election. The request asks the committee to disqualify him as a candidate for the 26th Knesset. The committee will now have to rule on the petition.
