Masemola charges withdrawn as Cachalia hints at return of police chief

Acting Police Minister Professor Firoz Cachalia has breathed a sigh of relief after charges against National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola were withdrawn following a review by the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), Advocate Andy Mothibi.
