Alexandra School closed due to flooding
Alexandra School in Barbados has been closed for the day because of flooding, while every other school on the island stayed open. The Ministry of Education Transformation said the closure was ordered to protect students and staff. Chief Education Officer Dr Ramona Archer-Bradshaw made the call after consulting Sabu Best, director of the Barbados Meteorological Services.
