Mohamed warns of development bank corruption risks
Azruddin Mohamed, leader of the opposition and head of the WIN party, has raised concerns about the Guyana Development Bank, which the government plans to launch in October. He argues the institution is being rolled out without the safeguards needed to guarantee fair benefit for all Guyanese. In his view, launching without a robust framework invites corruption.
