Different bee species see the world in very different ways, new research shows. Until now it was mainly the males that caught the eye of scientists, yet looking is not the same as seeing. The findings suggest that conclusions drawn from one kind of bee cannot simply be applied to the rest. Researchers argue that far more of the hive's members deserve a closer look.
