Japanese tech group GMO Internet has launched what it bills as Japan's first ambulance service for humanoid robots. The vehicle can reach a robot that breaks down in the field and carry out quick repairs on the spot. The company figures that as humanoids spread into workplaces and public spaces, owners will want emergency help much like car drivers do.
