Signs of copper, gold, silver, lead and zinc in Morocco's western Small Atlas are pulling in fresh mining money. Encouraging exploration and drilling results have led Red Rock Mining to commit 200 million dirhams, about 20 billion centimes, over five years. The company plans to turn the discovered deposits into projects that can actually be developed and exploited. It is a sizable bet on a region still early in its mining story.
