Cheng Uei and Yong Wei decided to sell all their shares in Senwei at a token price of NT$0.05 per share as part of a public tender offer by Hu Zhengjie. Critics suspect the move is meant to distance the companies from Senwei and dodge a NT$10 billion syndicated loan. CTBC Bank, the lead arranger, responded that the equity disposal has no real impact on debt recovery.
