Gunfire erupts as EFF and Ngizwe supporters clash

Tensions flared in Inanda when EFF members and supporters of podcast personality Ngizwe Mchunu clashed over rival events held at sports grounds opposite each other. Gunshots were heard as police struggled to contain the confrontation.
