Car skids and crashes along Upper Bukit Timah Road, destroys part of road divider fencing

A 27-year-old male car driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations after he skidded and crashed into a section of road divider fencing on Upper Bukit Timah Road towards Dairy Farm.The incident happened at about 11.35pm on Sunday (Sept 20).Videos of the aftermath posted on social media show the car stopped against the flow of traffic on the other side of the road.An estimated 60-metre stretch of fencing is seen torn up and lying on the road. As cars drive past the mangled heap of metal, screeching sounds can be heard.In response to AsiaOne's queries, the police said the car is believed to have skidded, adding that no injuries were reported.The driver is assisting with ongoing police investigations.[[nid:745698 editor@asiaone.com
