42 Cape Town construction projects hit by extortion and ‘construction mafia’ activity

Acting Police Minister Firoz Cachalia says 42 Cape Town construction or infrastructure projects were affected by extortion, intimidation or alleged construction-mafia activity over the past five financial years.
