‘Friends Like These’: All friends charged after Court cashier Adrienne Gill reports one friend hugged her too tight while the other bulged her eye
Two Belize City women have been charged over an assault on a court employee and released on bail. Renique Hyde, 27, who is self-employed, and a 20-year-old woman are accused of attacking Adrienne Gill, a cashier at the Belize City Magistrate's Court, during a social gathering last month. Gill told authorities one of the women hugged her too hard while the other glared at her. The alleged victim is not off the hook either, since she now faces a charge of her own through a counter-complaint.
