Russia's Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan has proposed a moratorium on business inspections in 2027 for companies that suffered damage from Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks. He called the suspension one of the more effective tools for backing small and medium-sized enterprises. The thinking is that firms still recovering from strikes should not have to face routine regulatory scrutiny at the same time.
