Local authority figures, including qaids, pashas and department heads, have started pulling the official seals from moqaddems and cheikhs across several Moroccan regions, beginning with Casablanca-Settat and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra. The move came after field reports documented violations in urban planning. According to sources cited by Hespress, the affected officials will be referred to the relevant provincial services for administrative and disciplinary measures.
