India will host the road cycling world championships for the first time in 2032. The UCI awarded the event to the city of Pune. Pune was selected over a competing bid from Groningen. During a UCI congress held in Montreal, the Netherlands also secured a hosting role. The Dutch will organize the world championships in 2034.
Indie bude v roce 2032 poprvé dějištěm mistrovství světa v silniční cyklistice. Mezinárodní unie UCI přidělila šampionát městu Puné, které dostalo přednost před kandidaturou Groningenu. Na středečním kongresu UCI v Montrealu uspěli i Nizozemci, kteří byli následně pověřeni organizací MS v roce 2034.
