Uzbekistan bids for UN Security Council seat

Uzbekistan has nominated itself for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for 2035–2036. Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva announced this while delivering Uzbekistan’s statement during the General Debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
