Nurses and midwives indispensable to resilient health system – Bawumia

Former Vice President and NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has described nurses and midwives as indispensable to Ghana’s healthcare delivery. He said their contribution was critical to building a resilient health system capable of delivering quality care to the Ghanaian people. Dr Bawumia made the remarks when he met the national executives of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) in Accra on Wednesday, September 3, 2026, as part of his stakeholder engagements ahead of the 2028 elections.
