Two frightening taxi rides, both ending in robberies, pushed Simone Frans to act. The 25-year-old says the experiences left her questioning whether women can ever feel truly safe on public transport. Her answer is HerRide Namibia, an e-hailing service where both drivers and passengers are women. The service is not up and running yet, but the plan is already taking shape.
