The Supreme Court has refused to unfreeze the Trinamool Congress (TMC) bank accounts, leaving the party's funds locked for now. Instead of granting immediate relief, the court directed the Calcutta High Court to expedite its hearing on the underlying dispute. That means TMC will have to wait for the high court process to move before getting regular access to its money again.
