Ayacucho Retablos tell the story of Peru’s Andean heritage, says Peruvian envoy
An exhibition of Peruvian folk art has opened in Kuwait. The Contemporary Art Platform is hosting 'Ayacucho Retablos: A Living Tradition of the Peruvian Andes', and the country's embassy held a reception to mark the occasion. Peruvian envoy Carlos Jiménez said the retablos recount the story of Peru's Andean heritage. He also praised bilateral ties, saying Kuwait and Peru are proud of what they have built together over nearly 50 years.
