Wildlife rangers in Cork have moved their hunt for an Asian hornet into what officials describe as a critical new phase. The team is searching Ringaskiddy, on the edge of Cork Harbour, for a possible nest. Once any colony is found, the nest will need to be tracked down and removed to stop the invasive species from gaining a foothold.
