Ömer Çelik'ten Yeni Parti milletvekillerine tepki: "Büyük bir çelişkidir"
AK Party deputy chair and spokesman Ömer Çelik has lashed out at lawmakers from the New Party who walked out of the chamber mid-speech. The walkout took place while President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was addressing parliament at the opening of the fifth legislative year of the 28th term. As Erdoğan spoke from the podium, the New Party group's deputies filed out of the hall. Çelik called the move a big contradiction, accusing the deputies of undermining the very institution they sit in. He framed it as disrespect directed at the Grand National Assembly and at the office of the presidency itself. The exchange landed at a moment when tensions between the ruling party and newer opposition groups in parliament are already running high. It remains to be seen whether the New Party answers the accusation.
AK Parti Genel Başkan Yardımcısı ve Parti Sözcüsü Ömer Çelik, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın TBMM'nin 28. Dönem 5. Yasama Yılı açılışında Genel Kurul'a hitap ettiği sırada Yeni Parti Grubu milletvekillerinin salonu terk etmesine tepki gösterdi. Çelik, yaşananları Meclis'e ve Cumhurbaşkanlığı makamına yönelik bir saygısızlık olarak değerlendirdi.
