An Israeli drone strike killed a Palestinian man in Gaza, and settlers killed another in the West Bank. The deaths came even as a ceasefire, declared in October 2025, remained formally in place. Since that deal began, 1,439 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed and 5,052 wounded. The count points to how little the truce has actually slowed the violence.
