Venezuelan opposition leader Dinorah Figuera has welcomed the acquittal of Rocío San Miguel by the court with jurisdiction over terrorism cases. In a message to the human rights defender, she wrote that San Miguel had rid herself of a very heavy burden. Figuera called the verdict a significant advance for the activist and for her family.
