Politicians have been urged to arrive at the Koroneihana ready to listen rather than dangle lollies in front of the crowd. The warning comes ahead of Friday's political pōwhiri at Tūrangawaewae Marae. None of the three coalition party leaders will attend the welcome ceremony. Their absence means the government's most senior figures will be missing from the event.
