Recuperan inédita película cubana de Humberto Solás con exiliados chilenos
The Cineteca at the University of Chile has restored and rereleased Cantata de Chile, a 1975 film by Cuban director Humberto Solás that had never before circulated in the country. The movie, produced by Cuba's film institute ICAIC, depicts the 1907 massacre of striking workers at the Santa María de Iquique school. Its return puts a long-lost piece of Cuban and Chilean film history back in front of audiences.
