Dialogue national en RDC : sans les personnes sourdes, l’inclusion restera un slogan (Tribune)
In a tribune, inclusive journalism expert and trainer Noëmie Kilembe argues that the DRC's national dialogue cannot be called inclusive while deaf people are excluded. She notes that sign language interpretation and accessible communication have so far been absent from the process. As long as that continues, she writes, talk of inclusion amounts to little more than a slogan. Kilembe wants the organizers to bring deaf citizens into the discussions before decisions are taken.
