Iran summons French ambassador over crackdown on student protests

Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned France’s ambassador to Tehran over the French security forces’ handling of student protests, calling for respect for the protesters’ fundamental rights and peaceful assembly.
