Gauteng businessman awarded R4.23 million after unlawful arrest destroyed all his businesses

The Gauteng High Court has awarded an elderly businessman R4.23 million after finding that his unlawful public arrest caused reputational harm and contributed to the collapse of his museum, restaurant and pub.
