A container truck slammed into the busway separator on Jalan S. Parman in West Jakarta while swerving away from a motorcycle. The driver tried to avoid the bike and clipped the barrier that divides the dedicated bus lane from the rest of the road. Nobody died in the crash. The collision still caused dense traffic along the corridor, one of the busiest stretches in the capital. S. Parman carries heavy vehicle volume and its TransJakarta lane runs down the center, so any obstruction there disrupts flow quickly. Crews had to clear the truck and the damaged section of separator before traffic could move normally again. Police did not immediately release the driver's name or say whether charges would follow.
