Austria's top winter athletes gathered in Pasching for the ÖSV's annual outfitting ahead of the new season. The kit handout took place at the PlusCity shopping centre and at premises belonging to the clothing sponsor, Hargassner. Aces from every discipline turned up to be fitted with the gear they will wear through the snowy months. The tongue-in-cheek headline suggested the ÖSV stars in Pasching looked anything but sharp. Teasing aside, the squad left the day equipped for winter long before the first race gates open. Outfitting days also hand sponsors their once-a-year slot beside well-known athletes in front of the cameras. Attention now shifts back to training grounds and glacier camps, where the real work continues.
